Accordingly, the 2017 Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week will be invested in the scale and quality, attracting many participations of artisans, artists and local people.

Apart from main activities such as the traditional boat race festival on Nhat Le river, "Cheo can" performance, "bong" (flower) dance festival, street parade, "Huong que Nhat Le" gastronomy festival, this year's highlights include some new activities such as performances of clubs and dance groups, street music, "Bai choi" folk game, "Keo Co" (Tug of War) folk game on the beach.

In the framework of the "Dong Hoi Tourism and Culture Week 2017", the launching ceremony of "Joining hands in efforts to protect sea environment" will take place with the participation of more than 500 people in order to raise awareness and responsibility of environment protection for all people, especially environment at tourist beaches and promote attractive beauty of sea tourism resources.

After the heavy effects caused by sea environment incidents, with many colorful activities, hoping that the "Dong Hoi Tourism and Culture Week 2017" will a good beginning for an exciting tourism season in Dong Hoi city in particular and Quang Binh province in general, Chairmn of the Dong Hoi City People's Committee said.
