"Heritage Road in the Middle Area" stretches along 3 world cultural heritages and 1 world natural one recognized by UNESCO: Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park; Famous ancient Hue; Hoi An-ancient township and crowded trade port in the 16th century with industries like silk, pottery and ceramics, sea-food and My Son holy land-scared worshipping site of ancient Cham people.

"Heritage Road in the Middle Area" stretches from Vinh city (Nghe An) through Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, My Son (Quang Nam), to the South, Da Lat (Lam Dong) with total length of 1,500km along the seashore of the Middle area and National Road No.1.

"Heritage Road in the Middle Area" will become the widening part of East-West corridor connecting Vietnam with Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and may stretch to India.
