The Phong Nha - Ke Bang National park, which is located in the Truong Son limestone system, was established in 2001. It was recognized as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003.

1. CAVE SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Time: 3.5 - 4 hours

Route: From the Cultural and Ecological Tourist Centre (CaETC) in Phong Nha sail on the Son River to the Phong Nha and Tien Son Caves and enjoy the spectacular Karst scenery with an amazing underground stream system.

2. ECOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL TOUR

Time:
5 - 6 hours, 60 km

Route: Starting from the CaETC you will drive on the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail, stop at the Botanical Garden and visit the Eight Volunteers Cave. Enjoy the beautiful scenery featuring the Gio Waterfall or hike on the Eco-trail along the Nuoc Mooc Spring. You could also visit some historical relics such as the Xuan Son Ferry and the Khe Gat Airport.

Transport: Car, motorcycle, mountain bike.

3. ECO-TRAIL

Time:
1 hour

Route: Have fun hiking in the woods along the Chay River. Walk across the suspended bridges and you might encounter a monkey on your way! Be ready to take a dip in the sparkling waters of the Nuoc Mooc Spring and be amazed by the butterflies! It might get slippery after a rain shower, so do look out.

4. HOMESTAY

Time:
1 - 3 days, in a village just outside the National Park.

Experience the villagers’ daily life by actually living with them in their houses, working with them in the garden or the fields, and playing with their curious children. It will be a heart-warming experience!
